Hi, I’m Ches and I’m the Director and Founder of Phoenix K9 Training.
This brand was inspired by my own dogs 12 years ago, and has continued evolving ever since. I have been running PHX K9 in the UK for the past 10 years, but decided to follow a life long dream of mine and bring my brand to the United States and open PHX K9 USA in 2025!
Phoenix K9 Training specializes in behavior modification through prioritizing the dogs wellbeing, fulfillment, communication and the relationship that they have with their owners. I also personally specialise in scent detection training for dogs, both recreationally as well as for medical alert purposes. I also run a virtual Mentorship Program twice a year that is designed to train canine professionals, help training businesses expand and develop, and help aspiring dog trainers or canine professionals get started on the right foot. This program is already responsible for training over 150 people globally, and I’m very excited to bring this to the USA.

When you choose to work with our team, you are signing up for a lifetime of support, help, and guidance. We make an effort to create relationships with all of our clients because when dog training gets hard, you need your support system there to boost your confidence and help you work through hard times. Dog training isn’t always easy!
Our methods
Our priority in all cases is to create a beautiful, harmonious relationship between you and your dog; one built on trust, reliability, communication and a clear understanding of each other. Once we have relationship everything else starts to slot into place quite nicely.
Our training methods vary based on each dog we are working with as every dog needs a different, personalised approach to training. We strive to use the least intrusive methods possible in all scenarios, and we always prioritise play skills, training with food, interactive games between the dog and handler, and communication skills.
PAYMENT PLANS
We offer payment plans interest free for some of our more expensive services such as our residential training programmes and our Mentorship Programme. Payment plans must be requested upon booking, please email our team for more information.
